Franco Quadroni

hailing from the southern tip of Italy’s famed lake Como, Frankie (FrankieJazz) Quadroni brings a unique flavor of classical and jazz guitar.

What began studying with his father at 10 years unfolded ito a lifetime of music. In the 1990s, Frank  was able to express his musical aspirations, creating with his brother Roberto (saxophonist) and two other friends the Manteca Jazz Quartet. In 1991, he attended a three-year jazz improvement (functional harmony and technique of improvisation) following the workshops of the guitarists John Stowell, Garrison Fewell, Sandro Gibellini.

In 2002 Frank recorded an album of jazz standards in Z-Best Music Studio in Meldola (Forlì).
In 2006, Frank composed a trio of bossanova performing in concerts for more than three years.
In 2009 Frank recorded an album of original jazz-latin songs in the study of Pier Genduso in Moltrasio (Como).
In 2022, bassist and producer Joey Dolan took to completing the album La ola Azul with Frank, as heard on Handle Records.
